Our refund policy for counselling appointments and related services.
At Global Mental Health Counseling Center (GMHCC), we are committed to providing compassionate, professional, and confidential counselling and psychological support to individuals, children, adolescents, couples, parents, and families.
Payments made for counselling appointments are collected for the purpose of reserving a counselling session with our psychologist/counsellor.
Once an appointment has been confirmed, the counselling time is reserved specifically for the individual or family.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled counselling session, please inform us as early as possible.
Where possible, we may allow the appointment to be rescheduled to another available date and time.
If a client does not attend a confirmed session without prior notice, the appointment fee may not be refundable because the counselling time was reserved for that client.
If Global Mental Health Counseling Center needs to cancel a confirmed appointment due to unavoidable circumstances, we may offer an alternative appointment or provide a refund of the eligible amount paid.
Mental health counselling is a personalised process, and every individual responds differently. Counselling does not guarantee a particular emotional, psychological, relationship, academic, or personal outcome.
Therefore, a refund cannot normally be requested solely because a client did not experience the expected outcome from counselling.
If you experience a duplicate payment, incorrect payment, or a payment deduction without successful appointment confirmation, please contact us with your payment details.
We will review the transaction and, where applicable, process the eligible refund or adjustment.
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may depend on the payment gateway or bank.
